Michael Clague is a Montreal Based Painter and Printmaker. He began his Fine Art studies at Loughborough University in Leicestershire England as a graphic arts student. He then continued to explore his many skills and techniques at the Art Institute of Boston and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. His work is characterized by an intuitive and fluid approach, that reflects more than 40 years of creative development and maturity of style. His travels through
life have taken him to Qatar, England, Boston and West Germany  from there he moved to New York City where he apprenticed at Elliner Ettinger as a press operator on antique Voirin press the same press that Toulouse Lautrec used for his Moulin Rouge lithographs. He is inspired to work on his art daily with various projects in mind waiting to be executed.
